Planning a wedding shouldn’t meanexplaining it from scratch.

Henna on a bride’s hands

To every couple planning a wedding,

You probably know how this goes. A cousin knows a photographer. An auntie swears by a caterer. You call a hall to ask whether men and women can sit separately, then call another one because the first never called back. By the end you’ve explained your whole wedding to a dozen people and you still don’t know who’s free in June.

We’re building ZAWAJ so you only have to explain it once. Tell us about the nikah, the walima, the date, how many people are coming, what you want to spend, and the things that aren’t up for debate. We’ll show you the vendors who can actually do it, and why each one fits.

We’re starting in the Twin Cities, and we’re taking it slowly. Every vendor is reviewed by hand, and we ask them the questions you would: is all the meat halal, can they send a female crew, can the night run late.

Planning on ZAWAJ is free for couples, and we never touch the money you pay your vendors.

If there’s a vendor we should talk to, or something we’ve got wrong, tell us. Email hello@planzawaj.com or find us on Instagram at @planzawaj.

What we believe

Every wedding is specific.A small nikah at home and a three-day celebration for 400 need different vendors. Our matching starts from yours.
Say it once.Zabiha food, separate seating, bringing your own caterer, a night that runs past midnight. You tell us once, and only vendors who can do it show up.
Vendors are people, not listings. Most wedding vendors are one person or one family. We’d rather send them five couples who fit than fifty who don’t.
